Hello Krahn Families!
May is warming up to be a very fun-filled and busy month at Krahn! We look forward to celebrating a successful year in many ways this month and hope to see you at the various events! Thank you for always partnering with us and working together so our students get the absolute best!
During May, we celebrate all of our staff during Teacher Appreciation Week (May 4th-8th). We are truly blessed to have the best staff at Krahn who work tirelessly every day for our students. Our Administrative team and PTO have a few things planned to celebrate them. If you would like to share with us in expressing gratitude for our outstanding Krahn staff, here is a list of Staff Favorite Things List.
Thank you, Mrs. Rodgers

To help us keep the focus on celebrating all of our students and to ensure a smooth and safe awards ceremony, we kindly ask that families do not bring balloons, candy, flowers, or gifts. These items can be distracting during the event and difficult for students to manage afterward.
Your presence and support mean the most to our students, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements together!

As a way to set students up for success we implement PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support). This system is a proactive support while preventing unwanted behaviors through positive reinforcements while building relationships. A school wide incentive we implement is the Cardinal Cart. This cart is filled with items students can purchase with their Cardinal Cash bi-weekly.

School Cafe Account:
Please use the link to set up an account, view the breakfast/lunch menu, and add money
https://www.schoolcafe.com/KLEINISD.
Parents are only allowed to bring and have lunch with their own child/children.
To help set our students up for success, we will spend the first few weeks of school teaching lunchroom expectations and procedures. This focused time helps students build independence, understand routines, and enjoy a calm, structured lunch experience.
|
|
|
|
**You may only have lunch with your student on their designated day. If you would like to have lunch with your child on their birthday that falls on a day outside of the designated grade level day, please contact the grade level assistant principal for approval. |
