Hello Krahn Families!
Spring is in full bloom, and we hope you are enjoying all the brightness and joy this season brings! This month, we encourage you to take a moment to reflect with your child on how far they’ve come since the beginning of the school year. Celebrate the skills they’ve gained and the goals they’ve already achieved. Then, shift the conversation to what they are still working toward. The power of “yet” reminds us that learning is a journey, and growth is always possible. Together, let’s help our students set goals, stay focused, and continue building a plan for success. There is still plenty of time in the school year for our amazing Cardinals to reach new heights and demonstrate their full potential. Let’s continue to focus on what our students CAN do and what they WILL do with perseverance, support, and a growth mindset.
This is the final week for lunch visitors for April. We will stop lunch visitors on April 2nd. We will resume on May 4th-15th. This will be the last time for lunch visitors for the year.
Thank you, Mrs. Rodgers

Boosterthon Event Day-April 2nd |

If a change due to weather needs to be made we will make that call on Thursday. The schedule will be adjusted if we have to move it inside. If Boosterthon is moved inside, we will not be able to accommodate parents due to the limited space with the inside track. |

We hope you will join us for a fun night that has something for the whole family! We will have food/snacks for purchase and activities in the carpool parking lot by the cafeteria, live BINGO in the library, a dance party in the cafeteria, as well as tables for people to eat.
We need your help! Do you have any gently used or new children’s books/chapter books you would be willing to donate for prizes for BINGO? We want to help our Cardinals build their personal libraries at home and encourage daily reading! Books can be dropped off to Mrs. Vos (Counselor) up until April 24th. Thank you for your support!

IMPORTANT:
Many of you may be receiving notifications about late books. Please disregard these unless I reach out to you or send your reader a late notice. The program LS2 automatically generates late notices and sends them out. There are moments where your reader’s library time may be changed, causing LS2 to think a book is late.
Parents, in May, start checking SchoolCash for books that have been lost or damaged. Mr. Bennett will provide information on the May Cardinal Connect on how to pay for damaged or lost books.

Support Our Cardinal Cart |
**If you would like to donate, you may access our Cardinal Cart Amazon wish list here
As a way to set students up for success we implement PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support). This system is a proactive support while preventing unwanted behaviors through positive reinforcements while building relationships. A school wide incentive we implement is the Cardinal Cart. This cart is filled with items students can purchase with their Cardinal Cash bi-weekly.
