Kuehnle Family,
Happy December! ❄️ As we enter this joyful month, we look forward to three wonderful weeks of learning, serving, and leading at Kuehnle. December brings reflection, celebration, and togetherness, and we are reminded of how much we value the strong partnership we share with our families.
This month will be filled with meaningful learning experiences, community moments, and joyful celebrations of the winter and holiday season. We are grateful to walk alongside you in partnership as we continue to make Kuehnle a place where every child is supported and able to shine their brightest.
Wishing you and your loved ones a peaceful, warm, and joyful holiday season.
With gratitude and Koala Pride, Jennifer Elbert

Thank you for helping keep everyone safe by not dropping off your child before 7:40 a.m., as supervision begins at that time. If you need before-school care, please contact the front office about Koala Kare or visit their website for more information: https://www.koalakare-llc.com/

Every day your child is in school is a valuable opportunity to learn, grow, and connect. When students are present, they build essential skills, stay aligned with classroom learning, and develop habits of responsibility and consistency. Being in school daily also fosters friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging within our Koala community.
Even a few missed days can create learning gaps that are harder to close, which is why we encourage consistent attendance whenever possible. Of course, when absences are necessary, we want to ensure they are accurately recorded. If your child is unable to attend, please follow the steps for uploading absence documentation in Skyward so we can update their record properly.
Thank you for partnering with us to support every student’s success—every day counts! 💙

We invite parents to join their children for our Winter Classroom Parties on Dec. 19 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM. All activities and food will be generously provided by our Kuehnle PTO, so there is no need to bring any treats. In alignment with KISD policies, outside treats cannot be distributed to ensure the safety of all students, especially those with allergies.
For early dismissal, parents must sign their children out directly with their homeroom teacher and receive an exit ticket (one ticket per child). Please note that each child must be signed out with their own homeroom teacher. To ensure a smooth and secure process, parents should have their ID ready for verification. Thank you for helping us maintain a safe and enjoyable celebration for everyone!
Click HERE to RSVP by noon on Monday, December 15th.

|
|
|
Klein ISD permits parents/guardians or grandparents to supply birthday snacks for their child’s birthday through the Klein ISD Food Service Department. Please email our food manage at dyoung1@kleinisd.net for more info and a list of items available.
Birthday snacks will be distributed for the entire class at the end of the lunch period, after students have had a nutritious meal as defined by the School Lunch Program and Texas Department of Agriculture.
-
Written consent from a parent/guardian must be obtained before a student will be permitted to have a birthday treat. (Sent in the 1st day packet.)
Two weeks notice is required for ordering birthday snacks through Klein ISD.
Birthday requests will begin after Sept 15th.
Please click this link to request Birthday treats through the Kuehnle cafeteria. You must print, complete and return to the cafeteria manager.
