Kuehnle Chronicle Family Newsletter

🌟🐨October Edition🐨🌟

Kuehnle Family,

Happy October! It’s hard to believe we’re already closing out the first quarter of the year. Our Koalas have been hard at work, and it fills me with pride to see their growth, curiosity, and kindness shining across our campus. Thank you for your continued partnership as we work together to create the very best opportunities and learning environment for every child.

This month is filled with exciting learning experiences and special events, and we look forward to connecting with you throughout the month. Your support—whether through volunteering, attending events, or encouraging your child at home—truly makes a difference in their success.

Together, we are building a school community rooted in high expectations, respect, and care for one another. I’m grateful to be on this journey with you and look forward to celebrating all the ways our Koalas will let their greatness glow in this month. ✨

Let Your Greatness Glow

Let Your Greatness Glow

This year at Kuehnle, our theme is "Let Your Greatness Glow"—and we couldn’t be more excited to bring it to life throughout our campus!

This theme is all about encouraging our students to shine bright by showing their very best in all they do—both in the classroom and beyond. Whether it’s making academic progress, showing kindness to others, or demonstrating strong character, we believe every child has greatness within them just waiting to glow. 🌟

As a school community, we are dedicated to supporting, recognizing, and celebrating our students as they let that greatness glow—through hard work, positive behavior, creativity, and perseverance.

We’re looking forward to a year full of growth, joy, and brightness, and we’re so grateful to partner with you in making it an unforgettable one for our Koalas!

Thank you to HEB for the beautiful back-to-school roses gifted to each member of our staff — your thoughtful gesture truly brightened our day.

And an extra special thank you to the Pirir family for going above and beyond by fulfilling every single item on the Kuehnle Clinic Amazon wish list. Your generosity will have a lasting impact on our campus.

Thank you to the Barahona family for their kindness, generosity and continued support for the breakfast donations to our Kuehnle staff.

Storybook Character Parade

graphic of storybook parade picture of a book

Join Us for the Kuehnle Storybook Character Parade!

We invite you to celebrate with us on Friday, October 31 at 9:00 a.m. as Kuehnle students showcase their favorite book characters in a delightful parade! Students will proudly dress as characters from their beloved books and parade around the school.

To attend as a spectator, please click the link below by NOON on Monday, Oct 27th.

RSVP HERE!

If you RSVP we will have a table set up outside to distribute visitor badges.

Weather Considerations:
We will monitor the weather forecast to decide if the parade can take place outside on the jogging path, with spectators seated on the grass. Please bring your own chair. If we need to move the event indoors, we will notify you in advance. Updates regarding the parade location will be sent as the date approaches.

Visitor Information:
If you have not RSVP'd or had your driver's license scanned at Kuehnle, you will need to visit the front office to obtain a visitor's badge. Arrive early, as there may be a wait, and we want to ensure you don’t miss the parade!

Costume Guidelines:
Students are encouraged to wear inexpensive, homemade costumes. Each student must carry a copy of their chosen book or a poster/paper with the book's title on it. Please remember that we still need to follow the student dress code set by the district. Costume "accessories" such as swords, wands, etc...should stay at home. Also, only costumes that are book characters are allowed. No scary costumes or Halloween costumes please.

We look forward to seeing you there!
