Hi Krahn Family,
We can't wait to see you all at Meet the Teacher Thursday, August 6th from 4:30-6:00 pm.
If you are new to Krahn, please make sure you have completed your enrollment online (here). If you are a returning Cardinal don't forget to complete the REQUIRED Annual Student Information update by Friday, August 7th. Click http://www.kleinisd.net/update to start the process.
We have a few upcoming ways you can support our Cardinals starting out the year. The first is volunteering for our Bus Buddies for the first week of school. The Bus Buddies program is a partnership between volunteers and Klein ISD to provide assistance to elementary students to help them get off of the bus at the correct location. This program requires one "Bus Buddy" per elementary bus the first three days of school (August 12 - 14, 2026). This approximate time commitment is from 3:00 - 5:00 PM. Volunteers for Bus Buddies must be 18 years or older. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. You will need to complete your KISD Volunteer Application the process typically takes 5-7 business days. Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up.
For those that are new, here is a little bit more about me. I attended Klein ISD schools growing up and knew I wanted to return back here when starting my teaching career. I student taught, taught, was an assistant principal all in Klein. This is my 5th year as Principal at Krahn Elementary. My husband Allen and I have a daughter Brinley, who turned 2 in July. Thank you, Mrs. Rodgers

A car rider number (Car Tag Form) is required to pickup your child in the carpool lane. A child will not be released to a car without a car tag.
If you do not have a car tag, you will be required to park and go to the front office to get your child. (This will start on the 1st day of school) Everyone will be assigned a new car rider number every year All car riders will be picked up in the cafeteria parking lot. Two lines will form and load at once.
Please make sure to follow all Krahn employees instructions for efficiency and safety purposes. When the car rider line is empty, students will be escorted to the front office. You will need to come inside the front office to sign out your student.
