Car Riders and Walkers

πŸš— Car Riders

Please have your child's car rider number visible and ready each day. If you do not have your number, you will need to park and enter the front office to provide identification before your child can be released.

The car rider line begins at Kuykendahl, travels down Klein Forest Drive, loops around, and then enters the Benfer car rider lane at the front entrance.

Please do not enter the car rider line from behind Burger King.

All vehicles must follow the designated traffic pattern so that the process remains fair and safe for everyone.

Please remember that all car rider numbers are entered into our dismissal system. If you skip the designated line and your child's number has not yet been called when you reach the front entrance, you will be asked to pull forward and wait until your child is brought to you. This can take considerably longer than waiting in the designated line.

🚢 Walkers

Please have your child's walker number ready each day. Without the correct number, you will need to report to the front office and provide identification before your child can be released.

Gym Walkers:

Students who are truly walking from the apartments will be escorted down the designated sidewalk. If you are parking in the lot behind Burger King, you must walk down the sidewalk to meet your child. Due to safety concerns, we can no longer escort students through the parking lot to parked vehicles.

Please do not park in the parking lot directly in front of the school and walk to the pickup area. There is not enough space to safely accommodate this practice. Families who do so will be asked to select a different dismissal mode for their child moving forward.

Strack Walkers:

Walkers will wait to be picked up at the designated gate on the side of the building near Strack. Please do not park near the building and walk across the parking lot to pick up your child. For safety reasons, families who do so will be asked to use a different dismissal mode.

Visit our website for more information about our dismissal procedures.

Please read the information below regarding change of transportation procedures.

1. Changes in transportation request should be submitted before 2:45 p.m. Requests made after 2:45 p.m. cannot be approved.

2. A written and signed note is required to change regular transportation. It can be sent with your student to campus to turn in. A transportation change will not be accepted over the phone.
