I hope you had a wonderful weekend! As we move through the next couple of weeks leading up to our weeklong break, I want to keep you updated on a few important things happening at The U.

We are excited to announce that Dr. Saulsberry has been selected as our new 8th Grade Assistant Principal. Please join me in giving him a warm Bulldog welcome when you see him around the community.

Last week, our Assistant Principals led discipline reset sessions with all grade levels. At Ulrich, we are committed to helping our students build strong character traits that shape who they are and providing the soft skills necessary to succeed in and beyond our building. Our character lessons take place every Monday and are reinforced each week during lunches.

We are asking for your continued partnership in holding these expectations outside of school. Encourage our Bulldogs to make good choices, speak up when necessary, and lead with integrity in every setting. Together, we are raising the next generation of leaders, and your support makes all the difference.

Tuesday, September 30th, we are hosting our first PTO general meeting of the year. I encourage you all to come be a part of the excitement here at Ulrich. We love to see our parents here at the U.

Good Evening Bulldog Family,

We are committed to excellence here at Ulrich. One area we are focusing on is eliminating horseplay on campus. Students have already been addressed, and we want to ensure they clearly understand the importance of keeping their hands to themselves at all times even when joking or “just playing around.”

We ask for your continued partnership in reinforcing this message at home. Please talk with your Bulldogs about why horseplay is not allowed at The U and how it helps us maintain a safe, respectful learning environment for everyone. Thank you for your continued support.

I am Dr. Clennon Saulsberry Jr. I am excited to join the Ulrich Family. This is my 30th year in education and my first year in TX. My philosophy is simple. Teaching is one of the most noble professions you can have. The impact we have on children lasts a lifetime... Make sure you are making a positive one. I am here to help us continue the trend of growth and lend my experience to help you in every way possible. My door is open and I'm ready to work. We work hard so we can play hard. We stay ready so we don't have to get ready. Bulldogs don't just Bark... WE BITE.
