Hello Mahaffey Families!
Did you know that missing just two days of school each month can add up to nearly twenty days—or a whole month—of lost learning by the end of the year? Every school day matters because it builds the foundation for reading, math, and social skills that help our students succeed. Children thrive when they have a consistent routine that shows school is important, and simple steps like setting a regular bedtime, laying out clothes the night before, and arriving on time each morning can make a big difference. Strong attendance in elementary school creates confident, engaged learners who are ready to grow and achieve, and if your family is ever facing challenges that make attendance difficult, please know we are here to partner with you and provide resources to help. Together, we can build strong habits that support every child’s success.
