Hello Panther Families:

I hope everyone has had a great and restful summer! The 25-26 school year is just a short time away. We look forward to welcoming all of our students back. 

To our Class of 2026: You will hear me say this many times……savor this year! Please come out and enjoy the Senior Sunrise, let your families take the last, first day of school picture, and make memories that will last a lifetime!


To our Class of 2029: Welcome to high school!! We are excited to see you at the Freshman Orientation on August 11th (more information below)! 

We sincerely look forward to seeing everyone on Wednesday, August 13th! If you have any questions about the upcoming year, or the information in the newsletter, please reach out.

Panthers Dress for Success!

As you prepare for back-to-school shopping, we appreciate your support in helping our Panthers start the year with confidence and respect. At Klein Oak, dressing for success means:

  • Choosing clothing with appropriate coverage (no exposed midriffs, backs, or undergarments).

  • Keeping shorts, skirts, and dresses at a school-appropriate length.

  • Wearing safe, practical shoes (no house slippers or cleats).

  • Avoiding clothing with offensive or inappropriate language or images.

  • Saving hats and hoods for spirit days or weather needs.

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure our Panthers are ready to learn and lead with pride on day one!

GPA Exemptions

Klein ISD strives to encourage students to pursue their areas of special talents and interests to

enrich their academic experiences and achievements. The GPA exemption is in place to allow students to exempt up to two credits during their high school career. We believe this will foster continued and increased involvement in extra-curricular programs and ensure that all of our students have access to a well-rounded education.

RETURNING STUDENTS


Welcome back to another great year in Klein ISD! To help us ensure a smooth start to the year, please complete the required Annual Information Update as soon as possible.

This update is necessary for all current Klein ISD students so that class schedules and teacher assignments can be finalized before the start of school.

Visit kleinisd.net/update to get started. You will need your child's Student ID number to add your child to your account. The Student ID can be found in your Skyward Family Access account under "Student Information" or on a Klein ISD report card.
