VorTX 3735 Excels in Competition While Honoring Teammate’s Legacy
|
Every year, Klein ISD’s Robotics team, VorTX 3735, spends months planning, testing, training, and competing in statewide robotics competitions. This year, however, the season carried a deeper meaning. The team dedicated their robot, Noah’s Ark, to teammate and alumnus Noah Lewis, who passed away earlier this school year.
As they honor Noah’s memory, the team continues the hard work and collaboration that define the VorTX program.

Superintendent's Message - Dr. Jenny McGown
|
April 15,
"Watching Aiden Algaze grow over the years has been such a gift, and it’s a joy to celebrate him as one of our SSLC Senior Spotlights! Since joining SSLC in 8th grade, he has continued to lead with thoughtfulness, curiosity, and a genuine love for his Klein Oak community. Whether on the stage, on the track, or in Student Council, Aiden has embraced every opportunity to learn more about himself and use his many talents and gifts to make a positive difference in our world. What I admire most about Aiden is the way he has truly invested in his school and the people in it. He has made the most of his high school experience, and that kind of involvement says so much about his heart and character. I am incredibly proud of the young man he has become and so excited for all that lies ahead as he plans to study actuarial science at Trinity University where he will compete on the Track and Field team as a pole vaulter. Trinity University is gaining someone very special, and our #KleinFamily will be cheering for Aiden as he begins this next chapter!"
