Know a Family Looking for Something Different? Share This!
|
Klein ISD Families,
Do you know a family looking for flexible learning options? If so, please consider sharing information about Texas Promise Academy with them.
Texas Promise Academy is a tuition-free, Klein ISD supported program designed for students who need flexibility in how and where they learn. Whether fully online from home or in a hybrid format, families can choose the option that works best for them. Even better, students enrolled in Texas Promise Academy still have access to the full range of opportunities offered by Klein ISD.

It's been a great week of learning and excitement, Klein Family! Don't miss some of our favorite celebrations from across social media. |
-
Happy Opening Day: HAPPY OPENING DAY! Today, our Kuehnle staff showed up in their Astros gear to celebrate their first game of the season! Let’s go ‘STROS!
-
Author Visit: Some of our 3rd-grade Buffaloes got a front-row seat to a masterclass in storytelling earlier this month! Huge thanks to the author, and awesome Blackshear dad, Holden Johnson, for reading his book and sharing his passion with the class. You’ve officially sparked some serious “future author” vibes for our buffaloes, Mr. Holden!
-
Colts love Math: In our 5th-grade math classes, students aren’t just solving problems—they are thinking, debating, and proving their ideas. Colts work together to explain their reasoning, prove why an answer works, and sometimes even disprove a solution. Through collaboration and discussion, students challenge each other’s thinking and deepen their understanding of math concepts.
-
Helping Beakats: We had 25 seniors from Klein High School volunteer on campus on Wednesday morning. Working with students in small groups, engaging at recess/PE, and helping teachers/staff with supplies are just a few ways these young adults had a positive impact on our tigers. Thank you, Klein High School, for partnering with Theiss!

March 26,
"I am SO PROUD to announce that our 2026 Klein ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year is Holly Fischer! At Bernshausen Elementary, Ms. Fischer leads with heart, humility, and a deep belief that every child can grow with strong relationships and joyful learning experiences. Her impact reaches far beyond the classroom, helping students feel seen, supported, and inspired to believe in themselves and one another. Congratulations, Holly, and thank you for making such a meaningful difference in the lives of students every day in our #KleinFamily!"
"Announcing our Klein ISD 2026 Secondary Teacher of the Year… Chad Hardin! Mr. Hardin is the kind of educator who helps students see that their voice, vision, and creativity matter. At Klein Collins High School, Chad creates opportunities for young artists to grow with confidence, take meaningful risks, and share their work beyond the classroom. Because of his leadership, students are not only developing their craft, they are discovering their purpose in it. Congratulations, Mr. Hardin—we are grateful for all you give to our kids and are so blessed to have you in our #KleinFamily!"
