🧮 Fact Fluency March Madness Has Begun!
|
Our Math Department is excited to announce the initial standings for our Fact Fluency March Madness Bracket! This exciting competition is designed to help students build confidence and master their multiplication facts while having fun with friendly classroom competitions.
How It Works:
• Students compete in weekly fact fluency challenges • Classes face off against each other bracket-style • Each week brings new matchups and opportunities to advance • The goal is to build both speed and accuracy in multiplication facts
Why This Matters: Strong fact fluency is the foundation for success in higher-level math concepts. When students can quickly recall their multiplication facts, they can focus their mental energy on problem-solving and critical thinking rather than basic calculations.
Cheer on Your Student: Encourage your child to practice their multiplication facts at home! Even just a few minutes of daily practice can make a huge difference in their confidence and performance.
Go Kleb Mathletes! Let the mathematical madness begin! 🧮✨
*Check back each week for bracket updates and see how your student's class is advancing through the competition!

This policy helps ensure the safety of all Klein ISD students and is part of our dress code.
If a student arrives at school without their ID badge on, they must purchase a temporary ID band for $1 at the ID station in the cafeteria before school. Consequences reset at the start of each grading period. Here is the sequence of consequences for not wearing the ID badge:
1st: Purchase temporary ID ($1), warning 2nd: Purchase temporary ID ($1), parent contact 3rd: Purchase temporary ID ($1), 1 school detention 4th: Purchase temporary ID ($1), 2 school detentions
