We would like to inform you that all 6th and 7th grade students will be participating in a field test on Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Eighth grade students will follow their normal schedule on this day.

This field test will consist of 13 questions and one Extended Constructed Response (ECR). The purpose of the field test is to help evaluate and improve future assessments. The results will not negatively impact your child’s grade. We will be a closed campus during testing so this means no deliveries or early dismissals.

To help ensure a smooth testing day, please remind your child to:

Fully charge their Chromebook before coming to school

Bring wired headphones if they normally use them at school (Bluetooth headphones are not recommended for testing)

We're proud to celebrate our 7th Grade B Team and 8th Grade A Team for winning the district championships! Their grit, teamwork, and dedication all season made this possible. Congratulations to the players, families, and everyone who supported them—special thanks to our coaches: Coach Rothfeld & Coach Moore — 7th B and Coach Frick & Coach Howard — 8th A. Go Hildebrandt Mustangs! 

We were delighted to welcome our incoming 5th graders for a visit! Students heard from the principal, watched the electives perform, and got a sneak peek at life as a Mustang. Thank you to the staff volunteers who helped make the visit warm and informative — we can’t wait to see these future Mustangs next year!

Our 8th-grade math classes turned on the lights (and the blacklights!) for a glowing exploration of the Pythagorean Theorem. Students used neon measurements and illuminated right triangles to discover how the theorem works in a hands-on, memorable way. Great job to our learners and teachers for making math shine!
