Dear Families,

Thank you for your continued partnership. We are starting a new schoolwide incentive to encourage students to wear their ID lanyards and arrive to class on time.  It is a Klein ISD policy that students have their ID visible at all times during the school day.

We will conduct random classroom checks. Any classroom with 100% of students wearing lanyards correctly and being on time will be recognized.

We are also implementing automatic parent emails when a minor discipline referral is entered. These referrals are typically for documentation and communication about behavior; they usually do not result in disciplinary action.  If students receive multiple minor referrals for the same behavior, it can result in a major discipline referral.

We appreciate your support in reminding students about wearing their ID lanyards and punctuality.

📋 Action Required: 2026-27 Course Verification

It is time to finalize course selections for the upcoming school year! Please log on to Skyward to review and verify your student’s requested courses for the 2026-2027 school year.

We ask that you carefully confirm that these selections accurately reflect your child's choices. Please verify the following:

Course Accuracy: Your child’s classes are listed correctly.

Prerequisites: All prerequisites for the selected courses have been met.

Course Levels: The level of each class (e.g., On-Level, Advanced) is correct.

For detailed information regarding specific courses, the Intermediate Course Guide can be found athttps://www.kleinisd.net/programs.

Important Reminders

Please note that some elective courses may change after this verification process based on availability. In these instances, your child’s alternate electives will be substituted.

If you find that changes are necessary, please reach out directly to your child’s grade-level counselor.

⚠️ Deadline: The final day for any schedule changes is April 2, 2026. Absolutely no changes will be accepted after this date.

One Act Play: "The Amazing Lemonade Girl" — Shirt Sale & Performances

Dear Parents,

We're excited to share details about our upcoming One Act Play competition piece, "The Amazing Lemonade Girl," and how you can support this meaningful production!

About the Play

This powerful production tells the true story of Alexandra Flynn Scott, an inspiring child who dedicated her life to raising money for pediatric cancer research through lemonade stands. Alexandra was born with neuroblastoma and became a beacon of hope and generosity. Though she passed away shortly after her 8th birthday, her legacy lives on through Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation, which continues her mission to fund pediatric cancer research.

We are proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students who have been accepted into three prestigious college pathway programs: International Baccalaureate (IB), Geospatial Studies, and Medical Sciences. Their dedication, perseverance, and commitment to excellence have opened doors to incredible opportunities for their future. These programs are highly selective and reflect not only academic strength, but also curiosity, leadership, and a passion for learning. We congratulate each of these students on this remarkable accomplishment and look forward to seeing all they will achieve in the years ahead!
