📚 Look at What We’re Learning in 4th Grade!

TEKS 4.9C

In reading, students are learning about the structure of drama. We are focusing on understanding how different parts of a play help readers better understand the text.

🎭 Learning Intention:
Students will be able to explain the structure of drama, including character tags, acts, scenes, and stage directions, and how these elements help the reader understand the text.

✅ Success Criteria:

I can explain the purpose of character tags, acts, scenes, and stage directions.

I can describe how each part of a drama helps me better understand what is happening in the text.

I can use the structure of a drama to help explain different parts of the story.

Ask your child to explain the difference between an act and a scene or to show you how stage directions help actors and readers understand what’s happening!
