Jaguars Journey

Dear Haude Family,

As we prepare for upcoming STAAR assessments, we want to share a few important reminders to help ensure a smooth and successful testing environment for all students.

Campus Procedures During STAAR Testing:

To maintain a secure and distraction-free environment, no visitors will be allowed on campus during testing days.

April 14th- Grades 3-5 ELAR

April 23rd- 5th Science

April 28th- Grades 3-5 Math

Attendance Matters:

It is very important that students are present and on time each day, and on STAAR testing days. Being in attendance helps students feel prepared, confident, and able to do their best, and reduces the stress of testing another day.

Dismissal Expectations:

To support a focused testing environment, we encourage families to avoid early dismissals for students in grades 3–5 on STAAR testing days, unless there is a true emergency.

When students are aware of early dismissal, it can cause unnecessary anxiety or rushing through their test. Our goal is for every student to have the time they need to carefully complete their work.

We appreciate your support in helping us create the best possible environment for student success. Please ensure your child gets a good night’s rest, eats a healthy breakfast, and arrives at school on time.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact the front office.

Thank you for your continued support,

Sheryl Hall-Palmer
Assistant Principal

🔐 Visitor Entry Procedures – Keeping Haude Safe & Secure

In alignment with Klein ISD’s Safe and Secure protocols, all visitors must show a valid photo ID at the front door before entering the building.

Please take a moment to review the Entry Procedure sign posted at our main entrance. All visitors are required to:

  1. Ring the doorbell

  2. Identify yourself

  3. State your child’s name

  4. Share the reason for your visit

  5. Present your valid photo ID

🚫 For security reasons, please do not allow others to enter behind you who are not part of your group.

Once inside, please check in at the front office. If you are visiting beyond the front office area, your ID will be scanned through our district’s Raptor system.

🎫 All visitors will be provided a name tag, which must be worn visibly on the front of your shirt at all times while on campus.

All visitors must enter and exit through the main entrance.

Thank you for doing your part to keep our students and staff safe! 💛
