Welcome to a New Week of Learning and Excitement!
As we gear up to close out the 1st quarter, we’re going into some exciting math adventures that will help us grow our number sense and build our brainpower!

🎉 This Week in 1st Grade Math! 🎉
We’re diving into the world of numbers up to 120 — and it’s going to be a blast! 🚀
Here’s what we’ll be learning:

🔢 1.2G (Readiness) – We’ll compare two numbers using the symbols:
    > (greater than), < (less than), and = (equal to)!
Get ready to be a comparison champion! 🏆

💭 1.2D (Supporting) – We’ll create numbers that are greater than or less than a given number.
You’ll become a number generator with the power to go higher or lower! 🎯

🏗️ 1.2E (Supporting) – We’ll use place value to compare numbers using words like greater than, less than, and equal to.
You’ll think like a math detective and use place value clues to solve number mysteries! 🕵️‍♀️🕵️‍♂️

School Supply Lists

In alignment with Klein ISD’s Safe and Secure protocols, all visitors must show a valid photo ID at the front door before entering the building.

Please take a moment to review the Entry Procedure sign posted at our main entrance. All visitors are required to:

1. Ring the doorbell

2. Identify yourself

3. State your child’s name

4. Share the reason for your visit

5. Present your valid photo ID

🚫 For security reasons, please do not allow others to enter behind you who are not part of your group.

Once inside, please check in at the front office. If you are visiting beyond the front office area, your ID will be scanned through our district’s Raptor system.

🎫 All visitors will be provided a name tag, which must be worn visibly on the front of your shirt at all times while on campus.

All visitors must enter and exit through the main entrance.

Student Code of Conduct

Custody & Legal Guidelines In accordance with district policy, the school is not required to contact the managing conservator when a possessory conservator requests to review records or consult with a teacher.

Parent Conflicts:
Please note that conflicts between parents must be resolved outside of the school setting. We kindly ask that you provide us with any court orders or documentation that outline custody arrangements or limitations on access or communication.

Custody Documentation:
It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians to provide the school with a certified copy of the most recent court order affecting any individual's rights related to the child. For questions or concerns regarding custody, please contact our principal.

Medication at School All medication—both prescription and over-the-counter—must be delivered to the clinic by a parent or guardian.

• Prescription medications must be in the original container with the pharmacy label clearly showing the student’s name and dosage instructions.

• Unused medication cannot be sent home with students. If you cannot pick up the medication personally, please arrange with the school nurse for another authorized adult to do so.

• Please note: Vitamins, health supplements, and herbal remedies are not permitted to be administered at school.
