STAAR Testing Begins April 14- STAAR season begins soon for our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders. On testing days for your children, it is important to arrive on time and stay for the entire day. Please avoid making appointments on these dates if possible. We are working hard to make sure they are prepared academically, and you can partner with us by building their confidence and preparing for a positive morning arrival. Remember to give medications and send them with glasses as necessary. Visitors will not be allowed for lunch on testing days.

Important Safety Reminder- When visiting our building, please remember to bring your ID with you, as it is required for entry in our building. When parents or visitors are coming or going, do not hold the door for the next person, as they will need to be personally screened prior to entry. We know this can feel awkward or rude, but it maintains our secure environment for the safety of all. Thank you for adhering to this requirement.

Rock the Farm- Save the date for Friday, April 24 from 5:30-7:30 for Rock the Farm. This is our fun PTO sponsored "carnival-style" event. Online auction begins April 13. See the flyer below, and keep your eye out for more info to come soon!

Klein Education Foundation Fun Run- Come on out to the KEF Fun Run on Saturday, May 2! It supports a great organization, the Klein Education Foundation. See the flyer below for more details.

5th Grade Appreciation- The end of the year is always fun (and emotional) for our 5th grade families! We will have a student-only field trip to Activate (Woodlands) on Tuesday, May 19. We will have our 5th Grade Appreciation on Wednesday, May 27th in the morning, and families are welcomed and encouraged to attend this event. More details to come soon!

Birthday Treats- Ordering birthday treats will now be facilitated through the front office/clinic to ensure safety with allergens. You can place your order on this Google link, or you can pick up a paper request form at the front desk. Please allow at least two weeks in advance.

Good Luck DI- Our two Destination Imagination teams are heading to the state competition on April 11. We know you will represent Hassler well! Thanks to our coaches, Andrew Jolliffe, Alexi Jolliffe, and Sarah Mendez!
