| Good afternoon Doerre Families, Hi Doerre Families,
It’s hard to believe that Spring Break is just around the corner! This week also marks the final week of the third quarter, which is an exciting milestone as we head into the spring semester and the final stretch of the school year.
Thank you for your continued support in helping our students stay focused and prepared for upcoming assessments. We have a few important testing dates this week, including the Math Benchmark on Tuesday and the Algebra I Benchmark on Wednesday.
On Friday, March 13, we will also celebrate our Quarter 3 positive behavior incentive, “Spring into Fun!” Students who qualified will enjoy an extended recess-style event with outdoor games and activities. It will be a busy and exciting week on campus, and we appreciate your partnership in helping students finish the quarter strong. We hope everyone has a wonderful Spring Break ahead!

To ensure all students are safely supervised, we do not student allow entry unless their teacher is present. Between 8:00 and 8:25, students can enter the building for tutorials through the secondary front door (the entrance nearest the handicap parking spots). Students must present their student ID and sign in, indicating where they will attend. Students will only be permitted to attend tutorials for teachers who have marked themselves present.
Here is the tutorial schedule for the 25-26 school year: Doerre Tutorial Schedule. Once the teacher arrives, they will turn their name green on this sheet, and our tutorial door greeter will know to let those students in for tutorials. Teacher AM Tutoring Check-In Sheet
After 8:25, students will not be able to enter the building until the bell rings at 8:35, allowing our staff time to prepare for the school day and report to their morning duty stations. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding! |

2025-2026 PRIDE Expectations
|
PRIDE UPDATE-
Beginning Monday, March 2, we will be shifting to a rotation-style PRIDE format during STAAR Prep Season. This adjustment will allow STAAR-tested teachers to see their classes at least two additional times (and in some cases three) prior to the Spring STAAR exam. This extra time will provide valuable opportunities for targeted review lessons, small group instruction, and focused skill practice.
Students will continue to attend their regular PRIDE on Mondays for Character Ed and the PRIDE Prep Checklist. Please note that 4th Period is not included in the rotation, as it is already 10 minutes longer than other class periods each day and has additional time built in.
Thank you for being open and flexible as we make this adjustment to better support our students. We will return to our normal PRIDE schedule after STAAR is complete in May. For the full schedule details, please check the calendar below. STAAR Prep PRIDE Calendar
