Hello Doerre Families!
Thank you for your support and partnership over the past week. As we approach the next two weeks before Thanksgiving Break, we remain focused on making the most of this time and continuing the great work happening at Doerre. As we look ahead to Thanksgiving and celebrate November as National Gratitude Month, we invite you to share your appreciation for our amazing faculty members. Feel free to use this Klein ISD gratitude form to express your thanks: https://kisd.us/gratitude. Your kind words mean so much and help foster the supportive community we value at Doerre.
A huge congratulations to our cheerleaders who competed in their first-ever cheer competition on Saturday — what an amazing milestone! We’re so proud of their hard work and can’t wait to see all the great things ahead for the Doerre Cheer program. Bright futures ahead!
Also, bravo to Ms. Amandola, Ms. Mears, and all the students who brought Finding Nemo Jr. to life this weekend in Doerre’s first-ever musical production! Whether on stage or behind the scenes, our students showcased incredible talent, teamwork, and creativity. We are truly blown away! Check out some photos from the performance below.
As we gear up for the end of the semester, please take a moment to review the information below about end-of-semester testing.
This Tuesday, November 11, we honor Veterans Day, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to any families with veterans for their service and sacrifice for our country. Your dedication and bravery inspire us all.
Let’s make it another great week at Doerre!
With appreciation,
With gratitude, Annie Welday-Zimney Principal, Doerre Intermediate

End of Semester Exam Schedule |
The end-of-semester exam schedule for QSE 2 and Midterm exams is now available. We do our best to ensure that no grade level has more than two exams in one day; however, due to the busy timing at the end of the semester, some overlap may occur. Please take a moment to review the schedule carefully, and don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns. |

Ms. Mullins will be meeting with students who have failed a core content class for Q1 one-on-one over the next two weeks to discuss their grades. Following these meetings, each student will be assigned a self-paced Schoology course that they need to complete before Christmas break.
Students can work on these assignments at home and during Pride periods in the weeks of November 10-11 and November 17-21. We truly appreciate your assistance in helping our students improve their grades.
Thank you for your partnership!

To ensure all students are safely supervised, we do not student allow entry unless their teacher is present. Between 8:00 and 8:25, students can enter the building for tutorials through the secondary front door (the entrance nearest the handicap parking spots). Students must present their student ID and sign in, indicating where they will attend. Students will only be permitted to attend tutorials for teachers who have marked themselves present.
Here is the tutorial schedule for the 25-26 school year:Doerre Tutorial Schedule. Once the teacher arrives, they will turn their name green on this sheet, and our tutorial door greeter will know to let those students in for tutorials. Teacher AM Tutoring Check-In Sheet
After 8:25, students will not be able to enter the building until the bell rings at 8:35, allowing our staff time to prepare for the school day and report to their morning duty stations.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
