Welcome Back, Doerre Families!
We hope you all had a wonderful and relaxing fall break! As we kick off the second quarter, we have a busy and exciting week ahead at Doerre.
This week we’ll be celebrating Beat Kleb Week with fun spirit dress-up days and our Fall Pep Rally on Wednesday, October 22! Due to limited space, this event will be for students and staff only, but we can’t wait to celebrate all of our amazing athletes and school spirit together.
You’ll find more details about this week’s events and activities in the information below. Thank you for your continued support — it’s going to be a great start to Quarter 2!
With gratitude, Annie Welday-Zimney Principal, Doerre Intermediate

Traffic Safety Reminder
We need your help to keep our students and staff safe during arrival and dismissal. Our crossing guard at the intersection of Red Holley and Trace Forest has reported that some drivers are not following her directions. Please remember that all vehicles exiting the back of the school should turn left—this helps keep traffic moving smoothly and ensures our buses can enter and exit safely.
While many families are following these directions, we’ve had a few instances of drivers turning right or cutting the line, which creates unsafe situations for others. We truly appreciate your cooperation and patience in helping us maintain a safe and efficient traffic flow for everyone.

To ensure all students are safely supervised, we do not student allow entry unless their teacher is present. Between 8:00 and 8:25, students can enter the building for tutorials through the secondary front door (the entrance nearest the handicap parking spots). Students must present their student ID and sign in, indicating where they will attend. Students will only be permitted to attend tutorials for teachers who have marked themselves present.
Here is the tutorial schedule for the 25-26 school year:Doerre Tutorial Schedule. Once the teacher arrives, they will turn their name green on this sheet, and our tutorial door greeter will know to let those students in for tutorials. Teacher AM Tutoring Check-In Sheet
After 8:25, students will not be able to enter the building until the bell rings at 8:35, allowing our staff time to prepare for the school day and report to their morning duty stations.
Thank you for your cooperation and understanding!
